On Banks and Banking Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 31 August 1995 № 2444. The Law became invalid by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 16, 2026 № 258-VIII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication), with the exception of sub-paragraphs 1), 1-1) of paragraph 2 and paragraph 3 of Article 16, paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 16-3, paragraphs 2 and 4 of Article 17, Articles 17-2, 31-1 and 48-1, subitems 6) of the second part of paragraph 4 of Article 50, chapters 6-1, 7-2 and 8, which are recognized as invalid from 01.07.2026; articles 40-1, 40-2, 40-3, 40-4, paragraph 7-2 of Article 50, which are recognized as invalid from 01.01.2027.
